Episode 5 · Stefan Wexley, Chloe, Elena
Stefan walks into Chloe's bedroom smelling like alcohol and mocks her packed suitcase. He notices a silver badge in her hand, rips it away from her, and grips her jaw. After accusing her of drugging his blood years ago, Stefan throws the badge into the trash and orders her to move rooms. Chloe takes a shower to collect herself. She steps back into the bedroom in her nightgown and finds Stefan sitting on her bed.
Stefan steps into Chloe's bedroom smelling heavily of alcohol. He spots her packed suitcase and immediately mocks her for leaving. Then he spots the silver badge clutched in her hand and corners her with questions.
Stefan snatches the badge from Chloe's hand and tightly grabs her jaw. He angrily accuses her of drugging his blood when she was twenty. Stefan throws the badge into the trash and commands her to relocate to the next room.
Chloe heads into the bathroom and showers to calm herself down. She puts on her nightgown and steps back into her bedroom. To her shock, Stefan has not left and is sitting silently on the edge of the mattress.
“Running away again? Chloe, do you know how to do anything besides complain and make threats?”
“This isn't a game this time, Stefan.”
“If you hadn't drugged my blood that night when you were twenty, do you think I would've touched someone as dull as you?”
“Take your things and move to the next room. I'm tired of looking at you.”
Chloe finishes her shower to clear her head after the harsh confrontation. Dressed in her nightgown, she walks back out into the bedroom expecting to be alone. Instead, she finds Stefan sitting on the edge of her bed. Why has Stefan stayed in her room, and what does he intend to do to her now?
