Episode 8 recap

Evie decides to heal Sebastian so her parents will not be sad. She walks barefoot into VIP Room 301 and sends golden magic into his chest until she collapses on the floor. The next morning, Sebastian's fingers twitch. Mr. Sterling and Vanessa shove past a nurse to seize the trust. Evie blocks the doorway. Mr. Sterling tries to hit the girl, but Alexander suddenly intercepts his wrist mid-swing.

  1. 00:00: Evie Makes Her Decision

    Inside her bedroom, Evie makes up her mind to rescue her older brother Sebastian. She does not want to see her adoptive parents crying anymore. She prepares to leave the mansion on her own to visit the hospital.

  2. 00:12: Healing in Room 301

    Evie sneaks into VIP Room 301 without any shoes on. She places her hands on Sebastian's chest and releases glowing golden energy. The magical effort drains her completely, and she falls unconscious onto the hospital floor.

  3. 01:02: Signs of Life in Morning

    Evie wakes up on the floor the following morning and immediately stands up to inspect Sebastian. She watches his hands closely beside the bed. Sebastian's fingers suddenly begin to twitch under the hospital blanket.

  4. 01:24: Confrontation in the Corridor

    Mr. Sterling and Vanessa march down the hospital hallway to seize the Sterling trust. A nurse tries to halt them, but they shove past her. Mr. Sterling announces loudly that Sebastian is finished.

  5. 01:42: Alexander Intercepts the Blow

    Evie steps into the doorway to guard Sebastian's room. Mr. Sterling raises his hand to strike her across the face. Before the blow lands, Alexander appears in the hall and catches Mr. Sterling's wrist mid-air.
