Eleanor rides back toward the estate with Evie, cleaning the little girl's hands. When the driver questions bringing home a stray child, Eleanor promises to handle Alexander herself. Inside the mansion, Alexander gets no news about his missing wife from his bodyguard. Vanessa arrives with a male relative, claiming Eleanor is dead and demanding Alexander sign away the family trust. Alexander refuses and orders them out. Suddenly, the front doors open, and Eleanor walks in with Evie.

00:00: Arriving at the Estate
Eleanor gently cleans the dirt from Evie's hands inside the car. The driver asks if the Duke will take in a stray girl. Eleanor tells him that Evie saved her life, and she will speak with Alexander as they reach the mansion.
00:23: Demands in the Grand Hallway
Alexander asks his bodyguard for news about Eleanor, but the guard has none. Vanessa and a male relative enter carrying trust transfer papers. They taunt Alexander, saying Eleanor is dead in the Elk Forest and his son Sebastian is dying.
01:03: Eleanor's Sudden Return
The relatives order Alexander to sign over the family trust. Alexander refuses and tells them to leave his home. Vanessa sneers that Eleanor is never coming back. Right then, the mansion doors swing open, and Eleanor steps inside holding Evie's hand.
