Claire, Noah, and Jack walk down the sidewalk together after leaving the school. Parked nearby, Miss Whitford watches Jack and remembers him rescuing her from a car crash. Later at dinner, Noah questions why his parents have different last names and whether they are married. Jack plays along and gets Claire to call him honey. When bedtime arrives, Noah panics at the thought of Jack leaving and insists they share one bed.
