Jack passes a rocking SUV at night and exchanges words with a rude driver. He visits the hospital seeking reimbursement from the crash victim, unaware Miss Whitworth spots him and tells her bodyguard to investigate him. Jack then chases down Claire's car and signs her contract. Claire wires him $100,000 upfront. Assuming the arrangement is sexual, Jack starts taking off his clothes, but Claire tells him she hired him to be a father.

Jack walks along a city street at night and passes a rocking SUV. Mark leans out of the window and curses at him. Jack tells him to enjoy his evening and keeps walking down the sidewalk.

Jack asks a hospital nurse about the red sports car driver to get his money back, but the patient was already discharged. Miss Whitworth steps out of an elevator, sees Jack walking away, and tells her bodyguard to find him.

Jack spots Claire Bennett driving past on the city street. He runs after her vehicle and steps directly into traffic in front of her car. Claire hits the brakes, and Jack gets her to stop.

Jack enters Claire's SUV and accepts the offer. Claire sends $100,000 to his account once he signs the contract. Thinking she expects romantic favors, Jack unfastens his trousers before Claire explains that her boy needs a father.
