Episode 6 · Emilia, Alexander, Mia
Eleanor guides a speechless Emilia into bed to rest. When Emilia wakes up alone, she sees ninety-nine missed calls on her screen. Alexander tells her on the phone that Eleanor confronted Mia. Emilia hurries over and discovers Mia crying in his arms with scratches and a slap mark. Mia drops to Emilia's feet, begging for Alexander because of her pregnancy. Eleanor denounces Mia, but Mia stops them at the door.
Eleanor gently leads a devastated and speechless Emilia into her bedroom. She comforts her daughter and tells her to get some sleep. Emilia lies down quietly while Eleanor watches over her before leaving the room.
Emilia wakes up alone in her bedroom and checks her phone. She finds ninety-nine missed calls from Alexander. When she calls him back, Alexander tells her that her mother went after Mia.
Emilia arrives at the penthouse and spots Mia weeping in Alexander's arms with scratches and a red slap mark. Mia suddenly drops to Emilia's feet. She pleads with Emilia to let Alexander go because of her pregnancy.
Eleanor scolds Mia harshly in the penthouse. She states that she regrets adopting Mia from the foster system. Emilia steps in and takes her mother's hand to leave the room with her.
Mia chases after them to the doorway and grabs Emilia's arm. She begs Emilia to have one final meal together for the sake of her pregnancy. Mia promises she will never bother them again.
“Emilia, your mother came after Mia.”
“Emilia, it's all my fault. I shouldn't have taken Alexander from you, but he loves me now. I'm carrying his baby. Please, just let him go.”
“If I'd known you were like this, I never would have adopted you. You deserved every bit of crap you got in the foster system.”
“Sister, I know you hate me, but for the sake of my pregnancy, please have one last meal with me. After that, I promise never to bother you two again.”
Emilia and Eleanor try to walk out of the penthouse, but Mia rushes to the door and clutches Emilia's arm. She pleads for one final dinner together before leaving them alone forever. Will Emilia agree to sit down with Mia and Alexander, or will she walk away from Mia's desperate plea?
