Episode 3 · Emilia, Alexander, Mia
Amelia remembers getting pregnant three years into her secret marriage, followed by a car wreck on the way to the clinic. She broke glass with her hands to rescue Alexander, but lost the baby at the hospital. In the present, Amelia rips up her new positive pregnancy test. Alexander arrives with gifts from Mia. He hands Eleanor candidate profiles from his firm to arrange dates for Amelia.
Amelia remembers finding out she was pregnant three years into their marriage. The next morning, she and Alexander drive to the hospital for her prenatal checkup. During the drive, their car crashes violently on the road.
Amelia breaks the car window with bare hands and pulls unconscious Alexander out of the wreckage. She collapses right after. Amelia miscarries at the hospital, but she comforts a weeping Alexander as he sits by her bed.
Back in her bedroom, Amelia realizes Alexander never truly loved her. Her mind is made up. She takes her positive pregnancy test and rips it apart into tiny pieces before throwing it away.
Alexander walks into the kitchen carrying gifts sent by Mia. Amelia watches him coldly. She remembers how Alexander divided his time, pampering her at home before rushing away to spend his nights with Mia.
Alexander walks into the dining room carrying a folder. He hands the file to Eleanor. He asks her to review single partners from his company so they can set Amelia up on dates.
“I'm going to be a dad.”
“Don't cry it's not your fault, we'll have children.”
“Eleanor these are the single partners at my firm, you can vet them for Amelia, see if any are suitable.”
Eleanor opens the folder Alexander gave her and looks at the profiles of the bachelors from his firm. The very first profile page features Kyle. Will Eleanor agree to set Amelia up on a date with Kyle, and what will Amelia do when she finds out about Alexander's plan?
