A fellow passenger warns Mateo about the Vidal family's military connections. Mateo lands and walks through Tepito to see his parents and Luciana after eight years. At his family home, a gang led by a scarred man assaults Ernesto and Rosa. Mateo arrives and orders the thugs to stop.

00:00: Confrontation in the Airplane Cabin
Mateo knocks Rodrigo Vidal to the floor with a slap. Vidal shouts threats at him. Meanwhile, an elegant woman in white records Mateo on video and demands his background details. Mateo introduces himself to a passenger who advises him to run.
00:38: Mateo Returns to Tepito
Mateo touches down and walks along the familiar streets of Tepito. He reflects on his eight-year absence from his neighborhood. As he walks toward his family home, he anticipates reuniting with his sister Luciana and his parents, Ernesto and Rosa.
00:50: Ambush at the Family Courtyard
A scarred gang leader and his thugs wreck the courtyard and strike Ernesto and Rosa over protection money. The enforcers raise wooden bats to deliver another blow. Mateo reaches the entrance right on time and orders the attackers to step away.
