Aurora suffers painful abdominal cramps and bleeds in the crevasse. Another snowslide collapses overhead, trapping her up to her chest. Fearing a further slide, she grabs her phone to call her mother. Aurora begs for assistance, explaining the avalanche and her medical distress. Her father requests her coordinates, but a coughing Selena insists the resort is secure. Swayed by Selena, Aurora's mother questions her motives instead of sending a rescue.
