Vincent Ricci leaves his pregnant wife Aurora Moretti alone on a freezing mountain slope. Moments later, an avalanche sweeps Aurora into a deep crevasse, trapping her leg and injuring her. Bleeding and in pain, she calls Vincent to beg for help. Vincent sits inside with Selena and her parents. He accuses Aurora of faking an emergency, demands an apology, and hangs up. Trapped in the ice, Aurora holds her stomach and weeps.

    Vincent Ricci takes off in a helicopter and leaves his pregnant wife Aurora Moretti stranded on the Sierra Nevada snow line. Aurora watches the helicopter leave, standing outdoors in the freezing mountain weather with no shelter.

    A violent avalanche races down the snowy slope. The falling snow drags Aurora Moretti over the edge and plunges her into a deep ice crevasse. The heavy snow pins her leg against the ice, leaving her badly injured.

  3. 00:23: Desperate Call for Help

    Trapped in the crevasse, Aurora experiences intense stomach pain and bleeding. She dials Vincent Ricci to plead for rescue. Sitting in his warm residence, Vincent brushes off her distress call as an act and refuses to send any help.

    Inside the warm house, Selena rests comfortably alongside the mother and father. Vincent Ricci ignores Aurora's pleas completely. He declares that Aurora must remain in the cold until she offers an apology, then terminates the call.

    Frost begins covering Aurora Moretti's face as the temperature plummets inside the crevasse. Sobbing in the dark, she cradles her swollen stomach with both hands and speaks gentle words to comfort her unborn baby.
