Dante corners her against a truck hood, dismisses her claims about Arthur, and threatens her husband's life. He forces Clara inside. As they reach the estate gates, Dante readies his gun, and they spot Arthur in a sniper's red laser sight.
Clara packs her bag in the underground parking garage. She plans to grab her passport and cross state lines immediately. Multiple armored vehicles suddenly pull up and block every exit path, trapping her in place before she can run.
Dante exits a vehicle smoking a cigar and slams Clara against the truck's hood. He threatens to shoot Arthur if she flees. Clara insists she cares nothing for Arthur, but Dante ignores her words and drags her into the vehicle.
Inside the armored truck, Clara argues against being locked inside Dante's estate. Dante prepares his handgun as they pull near the compound. When the headlights hit the entrance, they see Arthur standing outside with a sniper's red dot on his chest.
“You run, I put a hollow-point straight between your husband's eyes. Your choice.”
“You had a life. Now you have me.”
“Looks like your beloved husband is waiting at the gates of hell. Let's hear him out.”
