Dante commands Clara to save a dying mobster vomiting blood on the floor. Clara takes control and moves the wounded man onto the table. Operating without anesthesia, she ties off a severed artery and pulls the bullet out. The young man thanks her for saving him. Dante claims she is now permanently on his payroll. Clara refuses his money, secretly pockets a scalpel from the surgical tray, and walks out through the open vault door.

00:00: Emergency on the Infirmary Floor
A wounded young subordinate vomits blood across the concrete floor. Dante orders Clara to fix the dying man immediately. Clara snaps at Dante to take his hands off her, takes command of the room, and orders the henchmen to lift the patient onto the examination table.
00:32: Field Surgery Without Anesthesia
Clara works quickly without any anesthesia available for the patient. She ties off a torn artery inside the wound and extracts the bullet with forceps. Dante stands beside the table and watches her steady hands work through the bloody procedure.
01:10: Payroll Offer and Warning
The young mobster wakes up and thanks Clara for saving his life. Dante steps forward and informs Clara she has earned a permanent position on his payroll. When Clara insists she is leaving, Dante warns her about what happens if she tries to run.
01:30: The Scalpel and the Vault
Clara cleans her equipment by the tray while Dante turns his attention elsewhere. She quietly slips a sharp scalpel into her pocket. Clara steps past the guards and walks through the heavy vault door, heading straight for the exit to escape Dante's underground hideout.
