Kane wheels Lily through the supermarket in a cart packed with snacks. Lily talks about how people stole her supplies before. She holds out a potato chip for Kane to try, but he calls the food garbage.
Lily argues in favor of junk food. She points around the aisle at different snacks resting on the shelves. Kane follows her directions, grabs each package she wants, and piles them into the shopping cart for her.
Lily asks the entity what his name is. A past vision appears of a young Kane trapped inside a glass laboratory capsule while a young girl speaks to him. Returning to the present, he tells Lily that his name is Kane.
Lily spots packages of cheese and steak on display. She tries to scramble over the edge of the cart and asks for assistance. Kane steps forward, gently lifts her into the air, and places her feet on the floor.
Lily reaches up to grab an item resting on an upper shelf. A bruised man wearing a bomber jacket creeps up behind her. He clamps his hand over her mouth and orders her not to make a single sound.
“Garbage.”
“Kane.”
“Mr. Kane, please.”
“Shut up. Don't make a sound.”
The episode finishes with Lily trapped against the bruised man in the bomber jacket, his hand clamped firmly over her mouth so she cannot scream. Kane is nearby in the aisle. Will Kane notice Lily is in danger before this hostile survivor hurts her, or will a fight break out between them?
