Episode 4 · Lily, Kane, Bryce
Kane licks Lily's wounded hand in the bedroom, instantly healing her cuts in front of his stunned followers. He then carries Lily to the kitchen counter and announces that he is hungry. A terrified Lily tries to talk him out of eating her. Instead, she opens the pantry cupboard and finds it packed with rations. Back at the school, Bryce and his group run out of food, and Bryce angrily blames Lily.
Kane licks Lily's wounded hand, and her cuts close completely. Several zombie followers watch from the bedroom doorway in disbelief. They talk among themselves about how gently their Alpha leader behaves around her.
Kane carries Lily into the kitchen and places her directly on the counter. He tells her he is hungry. Terrified that he will eat her, Lily frantically warns him that her flesh is sour and will make him sick.
Lily climbs down from the counter and opens the pantry cupboard. She finds rows of canned goods, energy bars, and bottles of water inside. Lily hugs the food with relief while Kane smiles warmly at her reaction.
In the abandoned classroom, Bryce and the other survivors finish all their food in ten minutes. A loud argument breaks out among them. An angry Bryce kicks a bag across the floor and curses Lily out the window.
“I'm hungry”
“You can't eat me. My meat is sour and rotten. You'd get diarrhea for sure.”
“Lily, that woman. She caused all this.”
Bryce stands by the classroom window, cursing Lily after his group devours their entire supply in minutes. While Bryce directs his rage at Lily from afar, Lily stands safe in a kitchen full of food beside Kane. Will Bryce try to hunt down Lily for supplies, or will Kane protect her from the school group?
