Episode 8 · Xiaoxue, Jianguo, Sister Zhang
建国 uses his yellow taxi to cut off the black car in the street. Inside, 张姐 checks on 小宝 and warns that the baby barely breathes. 小雪 promises to deliver them safely to the hospital. When 小雪 gets out, 建国 grabs her from behind and chokes her while shouting threats. 张姐 glances through the rear window, spots the attacker, and whispers his name. 建国 suddenly stops cold.
建国 speeds up and positions his yellow taxi directly across the dark street. He forcefully intercepts the black car and cuts off its path entirely. The car comes to a sudden halt on the empty road.
In the backseat, 张姐 frantically attempts to wake baby 小宝. She alerts 小雪 that the child's breathing is slipping away. 小雪 turns around and firmly vows to reach the emergency room no matter what happens.
小雪 steps out of the black car to confront the situation. 建国 ambushes her from behind and locks his arm around her throat. He holds her in a tight chokehold while snarling violent threats directly at her.
张姐 looks out through the car window at the man attacking 小雪. She stares at his face and whispers the name Jianguo. Hearing her voice, the attacker instantly freezes on the road without letting go.
“小姐，小宝的气息很微弱！”
“大姐，你和小宝一定要坚持住，无论如何，我都会把你们平平安安送到医院。”
“贱人！得罪了老子还想跑！老子今晚一定把你给办了！”
“建国？”
张姐 stares through the car glass and mutters the name Jianguo. Outside, the attacker keeps his grip on 小雪's neck, but his eyes widen in total shock at the familiar sound. He freezes on the spot. Will 建国 realize his own family is trapped in the vehicle he just attacked?
