Charlotte, Ella, and Charlotte's mother corner Walter inside Sophie's hospital room. Walter tries to mention James's orders, but he cowers under their pressure and agrees to obey them. Charlotte grabs Sophie by the hair and drags her off the hospital bed. In the hallway, James walks toward the room with Sophie's favorite meal. Back inside, Walter helps pin Sophie to the floor. Charlotte and Ella order Sophie to lick Ella's shoe before a shout interrupts them.

James walks through the hospital corridor carrying a container filled with Sophie's favorite food. He thinks about how he previously mistreated Sophie to satisfy Charlotte. He feels deep regret as he heads toward his daughter's room.
01:26: The Command to Stop
Walter and the women pin Sophie to the floor. Charlotte and Ella order Sophie to lick Ella's dirty shoe clean like a dog. Sophie is forced downward until a loud voice suddenly shouts for them to stop.
