James lies sick in a motel bed while Sophie brings him bread and medicine. Charlotte and Ella arrive in designer clothes and threaten them. Charlotte sets the bed on fire and walks away. A flaming beam collapses on Sophie, killing her as she rejects James as her father. James burns beside her and wishes for a second chance. He opens his eyes in the past outside a burning mansion where Ella demands he rescue her dog.

00:00: Sophie Harassed on the Street
Sophie buys bread and water on the street outside a rundown building. A homeless man steps up and harasses her. James narrates in the background, explaining that his own past choices led his daughter into this miserable life of poverty.
00:13: Medicine in the Motel Room
James lies coughing up blood in a dilapidated motel bed. Sophie enters to hand him the food and medicine. She tells him she only cares for him to fulfill her late mother's dying wish, not out of any love for him.
00:40: Charlotte Arrives with a Lighter
Charlotte and Ella enter the motel room wearing designer outfits to mock James and Sophie. Charlotte takes out a lighter. She announces that company board members are still looking for James, so she plans to get rid of them both.
01:35: Tragedy in the Burning Motel
Charlotte throws the lit lighter onto the bed and walks out with Ella. The fire spreads quickly. A burning ceiling beam crashes down onto Sophie, crushing her to death. James perishes next to her while praying for an opportunity to save her.
02:23: Rebirth Outside the Burning Estate
James opens his eyes outside an estate covered in flames. He realizes he traveled back in time to an earlier blaze. Ella runs directly to him and demands that Uncle James go inside the inferno to save her pet dog.
