Episode 4 · Avery Collins (AVA), Ryan, Chloe
Avery confronts Ryan about canceling their dinner plans. Ryan admits he only dated her for three months because of a bet with his teammates. Chloe insults Avery's baggy clothes, but Avery scoffs as memories of her AVA runway work flash by. Avery points out Chloe's dress is a knockoff. Ryan defends Chloe, Avery dumps him, and Chloe steals Avery's box.
Avery asks Ryan why he canceled their dinner plans. Ryan answers callously outside the school building. He admits he only dated Avery for three months to win a bet with his teammates to pursue the most invisible girl in school.
Chloe insults Avery's oversized clothes and skinny body. She tells Avery that Ryan needs a glamorous partner beside him. Avery scoffs in silence as clips of her secret runway work as the supermodel AVA flash across the screen.
Chloe brags aloud about wearing an exclusive Maison Veyra dress. Avery inspects the garment immediately on the spot. She tells Chloe the outfit is a fake, pointing out the incorrect gold hardware along with the improper inner stitching.
Chloe announces Ryan is taking her to the Veyra Foundation charity gala to see AVA. Ryan tells Avery she does not belong there. Avery officially breaks up with him, but Chloe suddenly grabs the gift box straight from Avery's hands.
“It started as a bet.”
“Fake.”
“She belongs in that world. You do not.”
“Got it. We are done.”
Avery stands her ground, declares their relationship over, and walks away from Ryan's insults. Before Avery can leave with her present, Chloe reaches out and snatches the small white gift box directly from her hands. What will Chloe find inside the package, and how will Ryan react when the contents are finally exposed?
