Episode 6 · 49 episodes · Sara, Lucian, Ivy
Three days before her marriage, a Hare physician tests Sara and illuminates the Sacred Body crest upon her brow. Sara discovers that she is the true bearer of the lineage rather than Ivy. Walking past Ivy's quarters, Sara finds Warren, Linda, and Lucian adoring Ivy. Sara remembers Warren violently executing Kate because of this misconception. In tears, Sara swears to make the schemers pay tenfold.
Three days prior to the wedding ceremony, a Hare healer inspects Sara. He awakens a shining emblem across her forehead. The awakening confirms that Sara holds the Sacred Body and naturally possesses greater physical immunity than standard clan members.
Sara stands outside Ivy's bedroom and peeks through the door. Inside, Warren, Linda, and Lucian gather around Ivy. They lavish affection and praise on Ivy because they believe she is the one who bears the Sacred Body.
Sara recalls a brutal memory in the clan hall. Her father, Warren, strikes her mother Kate with a lightning whip until Kate dies. Warren attacks her because he believes Kate gave birth to a child without the Sacred Body.
Sara stands weeping alone in the palace corridor. She realizes Ivy and Linda fabricated the lie that led to Kate's murder. Instead of staying broken, Sara turns around and vows to repay their deceit tenfold as she walks away.
“You have the Sacred Body. Your immunity is much stronger than an ordinary Hare.”
“I'm the one with the Sacred Body? It was me, all along!”
“The useless brat you gave birth to has no Sacred Body. You're not worthy of being my wife.”
“Mom... I actually do have the Sacred Body. Ivy and her mother are nothing but frauds, and it was their lies that drove you to your grave. I won't let you die for nothing. For every wound they gave you, I'll repay tenfold.”
Sara walks down the quiet corridor after discovering the truth about her heritage. She resolves to avenge her mother's murder against Ivy and Linda. With the upcoming wedding fast approaching, how will Sara use the discovery of her Sacred Body to dismantle the family's lies and claim her retribution?
