When masked assassins strike, Lucian uses flame magic that shatters the vehicle. He shields Ivy while Sara gets thrown out and impaled by sharp debris. Sara wakes up in her room with a doctor. Lucian claims he cares, but leaves the second a guard says Ivy is in pain.
Ivy flirts with Lucian inside the carriage while Sara sits ignored. An arrow strikes the driver, causing the carriage to jerk wildly. Sara bumps her head and cuts her hand on broken glass. Ivy fakes terror and pulls Lucian away.
