Episode 5 · Lana, Margaret, Brenda
Lana brings Carlo and Ruby to the dining room at eight for breakfast. Margaret slams her teacup and scolds Lana for not cooking. Grant and Brenda eat caviar while Cody gives his salmon to the dog. Margaret sends Lana and the children to eat stale bread. Brenda announces that the family took Lana's gun. Lana acts submissive, fetches a bowl of mushroom soup, and dumps it directly over Margaret's head.
Lana walks into the Greco mansion dining room with Carlo and Ruby at eight o'clock. Margaret slams her cup onto the table. She attacks Lana with harsh words for failing to get up early and prepare the morning meal.
Grant and Brenda eat caviar at the table. Their son Cody taunts the children by announcing his leftover smoked salmon goes to the puppy. Margaret tells Lana, Carlo, and Ruby to go eat stale bread in the kitchen.
Lana hides her temper and offers an apology to the family. Brenda tells Lana that her firearm is gone from the premises. Margaret then commands Lana to head into the kitchen and bring her a bowl of cream of mushroom soup.
Lana walks back from the kitchen holding the bowl of soup. She fakes a slip next to the matriarch's chair and dumps the liquid over Margaret's head and dress. Margaret screams and raises an arm to hit Lana.
“The Greco family rule is that the day after you marry in, you come down and arrange breakfast for everyone.”
“These leftovers are for the puppy.”
“Lana, your pistol has been confiscated. We don't allow dangerous items on the estate.”
“Go and serve me a bowl of cream of mushroom soup.”
Margaret screams in fury as cream of mushroom soup drips down her hair and clothes. She jumps to her feet and pulls her hand back to slap Lana across the face. Will Lana dodge the violent strike, and how will Grant and Brenda react to this public humiliation of the family matriarch?
