Episode 3 recap

Lana intimidates Brenda into running away and leads Carlo and Ruby upstairs. Ruby calls Lana Mommy, and Lana hugs both children close. The next morning, Lana reviews the family members living in the mansion, including Margaret, Grant, Brenda, and their son Cody. Soon after, a weeping Ruby runs to Lana's bedroom door to say something happened to Carlo. Lana immediately reaches down for her gun to go help the boy.

00:00: Lana Drives Brenda Away
Brenda sweats nervously after noticing the holster strapped to Lana's leg. Lana stares her down until Brenda flees the reception hall. Lana then takes Carlo and Ruby by the hand and guides them away from the crowd toward the stairs.
00:22: A Group Hug Upstairs
Ruby stops in the hallway and addresses Lana as Mommy. Lana kneels down and wraps her arms around the young girl. Carlo hesitates a few steps back, so Lana pulls him directly into the warm embrace beside his sister.
00:47: Mapping Out the Household
The following morning, Lana assesses the people living on the estate. She notes Ronan's grandmother Margaret, his brother Grant, Brenda, and their son Cody. She learns that Cody acts like a spoiled tyrant who constantly picks on Carlo and Ruby.
01:08: Ruby's Tearful Alert
Lana opens her bedroom door and finds Ruby sobbing in the doorway. The little girl stammers that something bad happened to Carlo. Lana listens to the warning and puts her hand on the pistol strapped against her leg.
