Episode 6 · Ryan Vance, Jax, Damian Vance
Damian grinds his boot into Ryan's injured head in the corridor and threatens to crush his skull. A sudden blast of wind hurls Damian and Selena against the wall. A giant blue spirit wolf roars and shifts into Jax wearing a suit. Ryan thanks Jax but insists he is not his property before passing out. Jax sweeps Ryan up into his arms, brushes aside Damian's council threats, and walks away.
Damian stomps his boot onto Ryan's wounded head in the banquet hallway and threatens to crack his skull. Ryan screams out in pain. A sudden burst of wind slams Damian and Selena violently into the wall.
A glowing blue phantom wolf materializes in the corridor with a fierce roar. The creature shifts into Jax, dressed in a sharp suit. Jax warns the attackers never to touch anyone who belongs to him.
Ryan staggers up, thanks Jax, and tells him he belongs to no one before collapsing. Jax catches Ryan and lifts him into his arms. Damian bleeds and shouts council threats, but Jax ignores him and exits.
“Maybe I should crack your skull open first. We'll see if there's anything useful in that tiny brain of yours.”
“You put your hands on what's mine. You want to die?”
“Thank you, but I'm not... I'm not yours.”
“Jax, you're a top-tier Alpha, and you're taking this runt's side? Doesn't that shame you?”
“No one stops me from doing what I want.”
Jax walks out carrying the limp Ryan in his arms, ignoring Damian's bloody threats about the council. Ryan lies completely unconscious after refusing Jax's claim. Where is Jax taking the battered heir, and what will Damian do once he recovers from the violent blast?
