Aldrich shields Elena from the battle in the tower courtyard. He uses his remaining strength to teleport her away to safety. On the tower roof, David mocks the captured clan members and orders his followers to pin them to an altar to take their dragon vein cores. Elena teleports back into the courtyard inside a magic circle. She confronts David and begins fighting to defend her captured kin.
Combat rages across the courtyard of the Dragon-Sealing Tower. Aldrich steps directly in front of Elena to shield her body from the surrounding violence. He absorbs the incoming attacks while keeping her safe behind him.
Aldrich expends the very last reserve of his energy. He activates an escape spell and forces Elena through the portal. The magic whisks her away from the courtyard, sending her to a safe location while he stays behind.
High on the roof of the Dragon-Sealing Tower, David stands over Elena's bound kinsmen. He gloats over his victory against them. David directs his subordinates to secure each prisoner onto the altar to extract their dragon vein cores immediately.
A glowing magic circle blazes to life across the stone courtyard floor. Elena reappears directly inside the formation, armed and ready. She refuses to stay hidden, stepping out to face the enemy forces and defend her captured relatives.
“Go, child. This hell isn't yours to bear.”
“I win, you lose. Pin all of them to the altar and prepare to strip out their dragon vein cores now.”
“If you touch my family, you die.”
Elena unleashes a strike that shatters David's magical weapon. With the weapon destroyed, she stands directly across from the villain in the courtyard. Her captured relatives remain pinned to the altar nearby. Will Elena overpower David and free her family members before he can extract their dragon vein cores?
