Meanwhile, Fiona works through a bleeding shoulder injury lifting heavy boxes at a convenience store to afford baby formula. In the rain, she faints directly before Sean's vehicle. Sean steps out with an umbrella and brings her to a hospital room. When a bodyguard raises a gun, Sean intervenes, and another guard brings him his own ring.

Fiona clutches her cash in the dark, pouring rain. Weak from blood loss and pain, she suddenly falls to the ground before Sean's car. Sean quickly exits the vehicle holding an umbrella and rushes over to assist the unconscious woman.

Fiona sleeps in a hospital bed. When an armed bodyguard points a gun at her, Sean blocks him. A bodyguard wearing gloves enters the room, hands Sean an appraised ring, and tells Sean the item belongs to him. Sean stares, stunned.
