Episode 1 · Fiona, Sean, Mrs. Hansen
Fiona's father and stepmother Rachel dunk her in a water trough, demanding the name of her unborn baby's father. A flashback reveals Fiona met Sean on a yacht, where he gave her a sapphire ring. Back in the present, Rachel uses a stun gun on Fiona, and her family throws her out. Three days later, Fiona searches for food on the street. A speeding motorcycle hits her, and she goes into labor on the sidewalk.
Fiona's father and her stepmother Rachel beat Fiona in a fishery shed. They repeatedly push her head into a water trough. Rachel screams at Fiona, demanding to know the identity of the man who got her pregnant.
Fiona flees an attack at sea and boards an empty yacht. A drugged, shirtless Sean confronts her with a gun. He embraces her and takes her. Before leaving, Sean slides a sapphire ring onto her finger and promises to protect her.
Rachel shocks Fiona with a stun gun while Fiona sits in the water tank. Fiona's father kicks her in the ribs. Fiona's stepsister insists they cast her out into the street to prevent disgrace to the family.
Fiona goes three days without food. She pulls a sandwich from a dumpster in Riverdale. A fast motorcycle crashes directly into her. Fiona falls to the ground, bleeds on the sidewalk, and screams as labor contractions start.
“Tell me! Whose baby is that in your belly?”
“I've been drugged, girl. Help me, and I'll give you everything you want.”
“This is my ring. Wear it and no one in Havenbrook will ever dare hurt you.”
“Dad, how can we show our faces with this pregnant tramp here? Kick her out!”
Fiona lies injured on the Riverdale sidewalk in a growing pool of blood. Pain takes over as labor begins, and she screams out in agony. Surrounding bystanders gather around her on the pavement and notice she is about to deliver. Will someone call for medical help in time to save Fiona and her unborn baby?
