Maya pulls away from Brad and tumbles into Hayden Hayes's arms.

    Brad steps forward with an unsettling smile and takes hold of Maya's wrist. Maya jerks free, loses her footing, and leans backward. Hayden Hayes wraps his arm around her waist, catching her before she hits the ground.
