Sawyer dresses up to meet his girlfriend at a music restaurant after getting her text. Ezra blocks his path in the bedroom, pins him against the wall, and bites his neck until it bleeds. Afterward, Ezra allows him to leave. Outside on the dark street, oncoming headlights trigger Sawyer's panic over his parents' fatal crash. He freezes, and Ezra swerves his car, stepping out with blood on his forehead.
Sawyer receives a text message from his girlfriend asking to meet at a music restaurant. When he dresses up, Ezra blocks his way. Ezra asserts control by pinning Sawyer to the bedroom wall and biting his neck until blood appears.
Sawyer walks along the dark road while clutching his injured neck. Bright headlights shine directly toward him. He remembers his parents dying in a truck crash and freezes in panic. Ezra swerves his speeding car to miss him and emerges with a bleeding forehead.
“It's late. All dressed up. Who are you gonna see?”
“You said we'd stay out of each other's personal lives.”
“I call the shots. I can change my mind anytime.”
“Okay. Now you can go.”
Ezra violently swerves his car to avoid running Sawyer down in the street. The car screeches to a halt, and Ezra climbs out with blood dripping down his forehead. He stands on the asphalt, staring hard at Sawyer. How will Sawyer react to Ezra injuring himself to save his life?
