Episode 4 · Stella, Mark, Dane
Stella hands Dane his jacket at the entrance to her dorm, and he tells her to head inside. Back in her room, Mark messages her to complain that she acted overly friendly toward Dane. Stella challenges him on his relationship with Brianna. Mark dismisses Brianna as just a sister, so Stella blocks his number. The next morning, Mark confronts Stella on campus, but she turns his warning back onto him.
Stella hands Dane his jacket back at the entrance of her dorm. Dane tells her to head inside. He stands outside and watches her walk up the steps and step through the front door.
Stella dries her hair after a shower while her phone buzzes with messages from Mark. He complains about her conduct with Dane. When Stella questions his closeness with Brianna, he brushes it off, prompting Stella to block him.
The next morning outside a lecture hall, Mark intercepts Stella. He offers to keep his distance from Brianna and warns Stella about Dane. Stella asks Mark how Brianna looks at him, leaves him stunned, and walks away.
“Go on inside.”
“Stella, you were over friendly with Dane tonight. I'm uncomfortable.”
“She's like a little sister to me. Don't overthink it.”
“You know him. But do you know how Brianna looks at you?”
Stella turns her back on Mark outside the lecture hall, leaving him completely frozen by her question. She walks away alone down the hallway without waiting for his response. Will Mark finally recognize Brianna's true feelings, or will he focus entirely on keeping Stella away from his roommate Dane?
