Taylor gets Ethan's text using HIPAA as an excuse, along with an "I love you." After seeing his deceit, Taylor texts her parents about declining Columbia for MIT. She leaves her sunflowers beside the cupcakes and walks away.
“Again? Why does she keep bothering you? She's taking up time that's supposed to be mine.”
“Don't. Whatever's going on between us, she cannot find out. Ever.”
“Don't go back to the dorms tonight. Let's do something fun.”
“Mom, Dad. I'm not going to Columbia. I'm accepting MIT's offer.”
Taylor abandons her sunflowers on the concrete next to the box of cupcakes and turns her back on the townhouse. She walks away into the street after choosing MIT over Columbia. Will Ethan and Lexi spot the abandoned gift on the sidewalk, and how will Ethan react when he discovers Taylor knows everything?
