Episode 7 · 58 episodes · Cole Andrews, Kira, Renko
Cole arrives at the underground arena and places cash on Renko's desk to settle Kira's debt. Renko rejects the payment because the tickets are sold out. When Cole offers to take her spot, Renko ridicules him and has guards push him down. Renko kicks a bucket, throws a rag, and steps on Cole's hand. He forces Cole into the ring to scrub the canvas on his knees while Kira cries on the stairs.
Cole sets a stack of cash onto Renko's desk inside the underground arena to settle Kira's balance. Renko turns down the credits immediately. He states that the event is already sold out and paying patrons demand to see a girl fight.
Cole asks to take Kira's place in the bout. Renko mocks him in front of the spectators, kicks over a bucket of water, and directs his enforcers to grab Cole. The guards shove Cole onto his knees on the wet ground.
Renko drops a rag onto the puddled floor near the ring. As Cole reaches down for it, Renko plants his boot on Cole's hand. Watching from the arena stairway, Kira breaks down in tears and screams at her father in frustration.
Enforcers push Cole into the boxing ring. The crowd jeers as Cole stays on his knees to wipe the floor. Renko stands over him, promising Cole will sit ringside on Saturday to see Kira collapse during her match.
“Nine hundred. Keep it. That's all of her debt.”
“Nobody pays to see a mud scrubber fight. But you can clean my ring.”
“You always just make it worse. Why? Why are you even here?”
“Saturday. You'll be ringside, so she can see your mud scrubber face when she goes down.”
Cole stays on his knees, wiping the ring floor with a rag while the hostile crowd laughs at him. Over on the stairway, Kira weeps in total despair as Renko promises she will fight on Saturday. Will Cole keep submitting to this public abuse, or will he take action before Kira is forced to step into the ring?
