Vivian
Heiress and narrator
Vivian is an heiress who rescued Samuel from a street fight and hired him as a personal bodyguard. She spent three years serving him and trying to win his affection. When her stepsister Cecilia antagonizes her and destroys her mother's urn, Vivian fights back violently. That defiance costs her dearly when Samuel targets her for retribution.
Samuel Hartley
Billionaire heir and bodyguard
Samuel Hartley is the heir to the world's richest family. He spent three years posing as Vivian's cold bodyguard after she saved his life. His allegiance flips the moment he sees Cecilia Sinclair at a party. Blinded by infatuation, he uses his wealth and brutal enforcers under the name Mr. Hartley to savagely punish Vivian for hurting Cecilia.
Cecilia Sinclair
Vivian's stepsister
Cecilia Sinclair is Vivian's hated stepsister and Samuel's love interest. She deliberately provokes Vivian by smashing Vivian's mother's urn in the family mansion. Cecilia exploits Samuel's violent protectiveness, knowing that any harm she suffers will result in horrific retaliation against Vivian. Her calculated frailty turns Samuel into an aggressive weapon against her rival.
Story so far
Power in this drama rests on a cruel misunderstanding. Vivian believes she bought loyalty with basic kindness. Three years ago, she pulled a bleeding fighter out of a rainy alley and called the police to scare away thugs. She demanded his protection for three years in return. Vivian assumed Samuel was an ordinary street fighter indebted to her care. In reality, he is the heir to the world's richest family. He spent three years acting as her silent bodyguard, and he showed her zero warmth. That cold dynamic shatters completely when her stepsister Cecilia enters the room.
Samuel falls for Cecilia at first sight. The balance of violence immediately shifts against Vivian. When viewers watch Your Biggest Regret Ever online, they see a wealthy protagonist stripped of every defense. Cecilia knows how to exploit Samuel's obsession. She deliberately shatters Vivian's mother's urn because she knows Vivian will strike back. Once Vivian retaliates, the Hartley family machinery crushes her without hesitation. Samuel acts as judge and executioner under his billionaire alias, Mr. Hartley.
What makes this dynamic striking is the heavy information gap. Vivian spent three years serving Samuel to earn his affection. She had no idea her hired protector was the ruthless billionaire orchestrating her torture in dark rooms. Samuel thinks he is merely defending an innocent woman from an abusive stepsister. He mistakes Vivian's grief and anger for unprovoked malice. His devotion belongs entirely to Cecilia, and he uses horrific brutality to punish anyone who threatens her.
Those who follow Your Biggest Regret Ever full episodes will notice how quickly Vivian becomes isolated. Her friends abandon her out of sheer terror. Even her closest friend warns her that fighting back brings total destruction. Yet Vivian refuses to cower or beg for mercy. This story centers on a brutal power struggle where gratitude turns into targeted savagery. The central question remains whether Samuel will recognize that the woman he ruins is the very person who saved his life.
