Who is who in Reborn to be the Dragon King, and how they are connected.
Prince Brenton
Trueborn heir to the Dragon Throne
Brenton possesses genuine dragon blood and the rightful claim to the throne. His initial mistake was trusting Devlin and Gertrude, which cost him his life. Reborn via the Infinity Talisman, Brenton abandons his naive loyalty. He now uses sharp public challenges and his commanding power over dragons to dismantle Devlin's lies.
Prince Devlin
Bastard prince and usurper
Devlin burns with resentment over his illegitimacy and despises Brenton's kindness. In the first timeline, he murdered the king and stole the crown through cold treachery. Back in the past, Devlin constantly boasts of royal authority he cannot back up. He crumbles into panic whenever genuine dragon power is put to the test.
Lady Gertrude
Opportunistic noblewoman
Gertrude hides the fact that the crown seized her family's wealth, leaving her penniless. She chases status above all else, abandoning Brenton for Devlin the second power shifts. In the second timeline, she misjudges Brenton completely. She assumes he remains her obedient suitor, only to face public humiliation whenever she tries to manipulate him.
Lady Alina
Academy classmate and loyal ally
Alina stands apart from the corrupt court climbers. In the initial timeline, she risked everything to bring Brenton the Infinity Talisman in prison, dying beside him in dragonfire. In the past, she treats Brenton with sincere care. Brenton rewards that fidelity by publicly honoring her over Gertrude during the sword dedication ceremony.
Story so far
A royal court thrives on hollow posturing until fire tests the bloodline. In this story, the divide between true authority and stolen prestige drives every scene. Prince Brenton begins as an honorable fool. He carries genuine dragon blood, yet he willingly absorbs the blame when his bastard brother Devlin rams the dragon Veyrath into the royal tower. That single act of misplaced fraternal mercy costs King Lothian his life and sends Brenton to the executioner. Devlin represents sheer resentment wrapped in royal ambition. He despises Brenton's charity because it reminds him of his own illegitimacy.
The women in their circle define the stakes just as sharply. Lady Gertrude trades loyalty for rank with shameless speed. When her noble family loses its fortune, she latches onto Devlin, kicking Brenton while he is chained in the mud. She wants the crown at any cost. Lady Alina acts as the true moral counterweight. She risks her life to hand Brenton the Infinity Talisman in the dark of the dungeon, paying for that compassion with her life before dragonfire resets the clock.
Death changes the rules of engagement. Sent back months before the regicide, Brenton strips away his naive trust. The power dynamic shifts from defensive suffering to calculated exposure. Devlin struts around the academy courtyard claiming he is the true heir, yet he cannot back up his arrogance when wild beasts appear. Instead of rushing to protect his brother, Brenton steps aside and lets Devlin drown in his own lies.
Audiences who watch Reborn to be the Dragon King online will appreciate how methodically Brenton corners his enemies. He uses Gertrude's vanity to humiliate her in front of the academy, and he uses Devlin's false claims to force him into a deadly corner with an untamed dragon. Anyone searching for Reborn to be the Dragon King full episodes will find a sharp study in royal leverage, where stolen crowns crumble the moment real dragons demand true blood.
