Who is who in Oops! I Married the Lord of Hell, and how they are connected.
Bruce
Prince and Lord of Hell
Bruce defeats Satan in combat to earn Hell's throne, but mortal tradition demands he locate his destined bride first. Posing as an ordinary human in a tailored suit, he enters a contract marriage with Samira. He treats her family's lethal tests as minor amusements, casually deflecting knives and ordering high-ranking demons to retreat.
Samira
Exorcist heiress
Samira carries the glowing Dark Lotus mark that marks her as Hell's future queen. Proud and defiant, she signs a contract marriage with Bruce for ten million dollars to avoid becoming Jimmy Hans's captive. She continually steps between Bruce and lethal threats, completely unaware that her fake husband wields absolute authority over their enemies.
Jimmy Hans
Scion of the Hans family
Jimmy aims to control the Exorcist Guild and force Samira into marriage through intimidation. He relies on demonic ambush squads, runic blades, and the Cerberus Contract to execute anyone who defies him. His supreme arrogance blinds him to the fact that his ultimate summoned weapon belongs directly to his rival.
Lawrence Carter
Carter family patriarch
Lawrence is Samira's father, an exorcist elder obsessed with lineage and strength. Distrusting Bruce's plain appearance, he summons an underworld demon and hurls flying knives across the dinner table to expose him. He values family pride but finds himself entirely outmatched by the infernal forces crossing his threshold.
Cerberus
Three-headed underworld hound
Known across mortal legend as Satan's deadliest war beast, Cerberus is summoned through an ancient blood contract to slaughter Bruce. The three-headed monster arrives ready to tear apart any mortal claiming the underworld throne. It quickly recognizes Bruce's authority, dropping its heads to the floor in absolute obedience.
Story so far
Most contract marriage dramas trade on corporate buyouts and fake fiancés. Oops! I Married the Lord of Hell trades on literal hellfire. When Bruce Harrington bests his father Satan in combat, he earns the infernal crown under one condition: he must find a mortal woman bearing the glowing Dark Lotus mark and make her his wife. He steps into the human realm wearing a tailored suit and instantly catches Samira, an exorcist falling out of the night sky after being dosed with demon lust venom. An urgent one-night stand cures the venom, but it lands both of them in an even messier entanglement.
Samira has zero desire to play submissive bride to Jimmy Hans, a brutish rival whose family aims to subjugate her entire bloodline. To ward off an arranged marriage, she offers Bruce ten million dollars to act as her fake husband in front of the Carter household. Samira thinks she hired an ordinary pretty-faced drifter. Bruce, however, knows he found his destined partner, and he treats the charade as absolute truth. Every time her family tests him, Bruce casually dismantles their spells without breaking a sweat, keeping his royal lineage hidden behind wry smiles.
The core dynamic works because Samira spends her energy trying to shield a man who happens to be the supreme ruler of the underworld. When Jimmy storms the Carter estate backed by rogue summons and ancient grimoires, Samira throws herself between the blades and Bruce, utterly convinced he will be slaughtered. Bruce lets her step up just long enough to test her spirit before stepping in to obliterate the threat.
