Who is who in Wrath of the Sea God, and how they are connected.

Leo
The true Sea God heir
Leo sacrificed his legs to save Sophia's father, only to suffer betrayal at her hands. After Arthur drains his bloodline and throws him into the ocean, Leo claims the Golden Trident in a sunken temple. He regains his legs, puts on golden scaled armor, and enters the arena under a beggar's disguise to shatter Arthur's fraudulent status.
Sophia
Noblewoman and Leo's former fiancée
Sophia tossed aside Leo's loyalty for royal prestige beside Arthur. She helped drain Leo's blood, stabbed him in the chest, and threw him over the cliff. Sitting in the royal box, she cheers for gladiators to butcher commoners. Her arrogance evaporates the moment Leo reveals he survived the fall and destroyed Arthur's prized weapon.
Arthur
Crown Heir and Papacy Saint
Arthur stole Leo's bloodline to earn his baptism as a Saint. Arrogant and cruel, he relies on church authority and borrowed prestige to bully rivals. He abuses Leo in the square, only to get humiliated in the arena when his holy spear crumbles to dust. Defeated and bleeding, he cowers on the arena floor calling for help.
Kane
Armored gladiator champion
Kane acts as Arthur's arena enforcer. He relies on high-tier magic scrolls to overpower his opponents, summoning a massive seventh-order water elemental against Leo. When Leo survives the assault and pulverizes the monster's magic core with his bare hands, Kane's bravado shatters, reducing the champion to a terrified spectator on the arena floor.

Story so far

Wrath of the Sea God sets up a brutal power struggle built on theft and false divine favor. Leo gave up the use of his legs to rescue his fiancée's father. His reward was cold slaughter. Sophia and Crown Heir Arthur dragged him to a cliffside altar, drained his ancient bloodline, and stabbed him before dumping him into the sea. Arthur needed that divine blood to secure his baptism as the Papacy's Saint. Leo thought loyalty mattered. Instead, he learned that the nobility views commoners as disposable tools.

Power flips fast once the ocean claims him. An ancient underwater temple responds to Leo's golden blood, healing his crippled limbs and arming him with the Golden Trident. When Leo steps back onto dry land disguised in rags, the story stops being about victimization. It becomes a calculated dismantling of Arthur's stolen status. Arthur depends on theatrical posturing and church backing. Leo holds actual primordial power. Their collision in the arena exposes how fragile the church elite really is when forced to fight without unearned advantages. Arthur claims divine grace, yet his authority is a complete sham.

Sophia anchors the drama's cruelty. She traded genuine loyalty for high social status beside Arthur in the royal box. Her sneering confidence crumbles the moment Leo shatters Arthur's spear and drops his beggar disguise. Wrath of the Sea God episode guide

EP 1: Betrayal on the Cliff
Chained to a wheelchair at a cliffside altar, Leo has his divine blood drained by Crown Heir Arthur. Leo reminds Sophia that he sacrificed his legs for her father. Sophia mocks him as poor commoner trash, stabs him in the chest, and pushes him off the cliff into the sea.
EP 2: Awakening in the Abyss
Leo sinks into the abyss in chains while a three-headed serpent approaches to devour him. His golden blood drips onto an ancient underwater statue, activating a temple relic. A burst of divine power obliterates the monster, burns away his chains, and summons the Golden Trident from the altar.
EP 3: Rise of the Sea God
Leo seizes the Golden Trident in the submerged chamber. The ancient Sea God power restores his crippled legs and covers his body in golden armor. When another three-headed serpent attacks, Leo decapitates the beast with a wave of energy and rides a pillar of light up to the surface.
EP 4: A Beggar in the Square
Disguised as a limping beggar in a ragged cloak, Leo registers for the arena tournament. The Radiant Sovereign projects a blessing over the cathedral square. Arthur and Sophia cross paths with Leo. Arthur insults him, stomps on his wooden cane, and threatens him before heading toward the arena.
EP 5: The Life-and-Death Challenge
Arthur touches the sacred crystal during testing, unleashing a blast of water magic that stuns the crowd. Leo steps up and produces only a faint smoke flicker. When Arthur and the spectators mock his weak result, Leo signs a waiver and challenges Arthur to a life-and-death match.
EP 6: Summoning the Leviathan
Sophia watches from the royal box as the armored gladiator Kane defends Arthur's honor in the arena. Kane summons a seventh-order water monster that smashes the arena floor with crushing blows. Thinking the beggar is dead, Kane turns his back, but Leo stands behind him completely unharmed.
EP 7: Crushing the Core
Leo tears his way out of the water elemental using his armored gauntlets. When the gladiator claims the creature cannot die, Leo crushes the monster's seventh-tier magic crystal core with his bare hands. Terrified, the gladiator collapses. Arthur smashes his wine glass in fury and leaps down to fight.
EP 8: The Shattered Spear
Arthur wields a spear from the Radiant Sovereign, freezing the arena and killing spectators in the stands. Leo mocks the weapon as a ditch bone and counters Arthur with fluid water manipulation. Leo catches the spear, disarms Arthur, and grinds the holy relic into dust with his bare hands.
EP 9: The True Heir Unmasked
The shockwave from the destroyed spear hurls Arthur into the arena wall. Sophia rushes down to Arthur's side in horror. Leo burns away his cloak, revealing his healed legs and scaled armor to his stunned betrayers. Arthur panics, calling Leo a demon while a lightning rift tears the sky.

Arthur

“Take your poverty and rot in hell! Die!”
Sophia

“Holding a piece of broken fish bone you picked up from a stinking ditch. And you dare call it the Sea God's supreme treasure before me?”
