Sports reporter Kristen drops her voice recorder, and Zane hands it back to her while suggesting an interview. Star recruit DeMarcus intervenes with angry threats. The Miracle Basketball System activates, handing Zane an elite template. Zane challenges DeMarcus to a one-on-one game to ten, quickly flooring him with a crossover before slamming a dunk.

A stray basketball hits Zane Hayes on the sideline bench. He recovers from the impact and realizes he has returned to the year 2008 as a lowly USC water boy.
00:30: Kristen Drops Her Recorder
Sports Weekly reporter Kristen arrives at the gym to interview DeMarcus. She accidentally drops her voice recorder on the floor. Zane picks up the device and playfully suggests she interview him instead.
01:27: System Activation
DeMarcus rushes over and furiously insults Zane for touching Kristen. While DeMarcus makes threats, the Miracle Basketball System boots up, giving Zane the Wild All-Around Template and a quest to destroy the recruit.
02:03: One-on-One Showdown
Zane dares DeMarcus to play a ten-point duel where the loser must lick the court. Zane executes a swift crossover that knocks DeMarcus flat, then drives inside to deliver a powerful dunk.
