Who is who in Weightless Rose, and how they are connected.
Carlisle Veyne
Exiled Wayne Heir
Carlisle commands the K-17 settlement with hard practicality. Exiled from House Wayne, he initially views Evelyn as valuable salvage or political leverage. His genetic rejection disorder strangely vanishes around her Omega pheromones. He acts stern and distant, but repeatedly puts his body on the line to shield her from falling debris and alien swarms.
Evelyn
Federation Superstar Singer
Evelyn looks like a pampered Federation singer, but she possesses real nerve and dead-eye aim with a blaster. Targeted by House Kelvin and tracked by insectoids, she refuses to cower behind guards. She rescues trapped civilians and braves crumbling mines to keep others alive while searching for a way home.
Rafe
Carlisle's Lieutenant
Rafe serves as Carlisle's loyal lieutenant across the desolate outpost of K-17. He assists Carlisle in recovering Evelyn from the crash site and tracking swarm movements. He knows his commander's cold nature well and openly remarks on Carlisle's unusual praise and protective instincts toward Evelyn.
Head of the Crimson Scales Clan
Clan Chieftain
The Crimson Scales leader rules a fortified stronghold on K-17 and despises House Wayne. Desperate to save his kin from lethal crystal dust poisoning, he strikes a pragmatic bargain with Evelyn. He promises access to his long-range communications array if she can retrieve the antidote from a ruined mine.
Story so far
In Weightless Rose, survival strips away polite society. The story throws an exiled nobleman and a famous singer together on K-17, a desolate waste planet crawling with alien predators. When you watch Weightless Rose online, the immediate friction comes down to leverage. Carlisle Veyne runs a frontier outpost under harsh conditions. House Wayne discarded him years ago. Evelyn crashes into his territory after an insectoid swarm tears through her transport ship. She might look like a vulnerable celebrity from the core worlds, but she carries hidden weight and sharp instincts. Alien monsters hunt her wreckage. Carlisle must choose immediately between indifference and intervention.
Power dynamics shift the moment they share close quarters. Evelyn arrives with failing suppressants. Her body releases Omega pheromones that normally provoke Carlisle's genetic rejection disorder. Her scent does the opposite. It calms his agitation instantly. That physiological reaction flips their dynamic on the spot. Carlisle tries to treat her as useful cargo or a ticket off the colony world. Evelyn refuses to cower behind his armor. She claims space in his vehicle and fires back at attacking beasts. She also bargains directly with hostile factions when resources run out.
Viewers who follow Weightless Rose full episodes will appreciate the total lack of false modesty between the leads. House Kelvin clearly set Evelyn up on a suspicious frontier tour. Carlisle knows high-society betrayal firsthand from his own exile. Neither character respects empty status or polite lies. Their initial friction turns into calculated teamwork during colony raids and dangerous mine expeditions. They do not bond through soft words. They bond under crumbling tunnels and hostile mechanical gunfire. Every step exposes deeper political corruption back on the core planets. Both fighters have nowhere to turn except toward each other. That shared stubbornness drives the drama forward and keeps every negotiation tense.
Weightless Rose episode guide
EP 1: Frontier Crash
Evelyn's transport suffers a brutal insectoid assault over planet K-17 and crash-lands in the dirt. At a defensive outpost, the exiled Carlisle Veyne notices the burning wreck. He investigates the crash site with Rafe, discovers an unconscious Evelyn, and spots her glowing royal necklace just before a massive beast strikes.
EP 2: Salvage and Survival
Swarms descend across the desert battlefield. Carlisle commands his fighters against the armored monsters, killing a giant beast with a shot down its throat. His men collect insect corpses for trade. Carlisle hauls Evelyn into the truck bed, where she wakes up surrounded by dead alien carcasses.
EP 3: Crowded Transport
Carlisle stops the transport after an insect smashes the windshield. He confronts Evelyn, reminding her that frontier life offers no luxuries. Evelyn climbs onto his lap inside the tight cab. During the bumpy ride, her pink Omega pheromones escape, catching Carlisle off guard.
EP 4: Failed Suppressants
Carlisle realizes Evelyn's pheromones do not trigger his genetic rejection disorder. They reach the Gray Ring settlement. Because the local transmitter is broken, Evelyn must enter Crimson Scales territory alone. Carlisle gives her his scented cloak to mask her presence. She emerges from the shower, sending him into shock.
EP 5: Trapped Quarters
Carlisle scolds Evelyn for her unmasked pheromones and helps her find dry clothes. A teasing exchange causes a heavy storage cabinet to topple over. Carlisle shields Evelyn and hurts his wrist in the fall. They lie pinned together until the shelter door suddenly slides open.
EP 6: The Southern Breach
Carlisle puts the settlement on alert when a swarm strikes the walls. Mid-battle, alien beasts breach the southern residential area. Evelyn runs into the danger zone to pull a pinned child from the rubble. Falling masonry threatens them, but Carlisle dives in to cover them with his body.
EP 7: True Targets
Carlisle pulls the survivors from the rubble, then lectures Evelyn about risking her life. She proves her capability by shooting an insectoid out of the sky. Carlisle realizes the swarm is specifically hunting Evelyn. She volunteers to approach the hostile Crimson Scales clan for a long-range transmitter.
EP 8: The Clan Bargain
Carlisle gives Evelyn a tracker and a strict ten-minute deadline. Evelyn infiltrates the Crimson Scales fortress and finds the clan chief tending to a dying girl poisoned by crystal dust. She stabilizes the child, then agrees to enter a hazardous mine to retrieve the antidote.
EP 9: Tunnel Collapse
Evelyn returns to Carlisle and Wraith with the deal. The three enter the abandoned Wayne energy mine to find the medical station. Carlisle restores the power grid, but faulty wiring triggers an explosion. A rockfall traps Wraith on the other side, forcing Carlisle and Evelyn forward alone.
EP 10: Severed Tracks
Carlisle and Evelyn explore deeper into the mine until they trigger automated security protocols. Hostile Veyne Energy androids open fire. Carlisle leads Evelyn onto an old rail cart to outrun the mechanical barrage. Their speeding cart shoots off the broken track into an empty chasm.
Memorable lines
“House Veyne exiled me to K-17. Whatever falls out of the sky here is none of their concern.”
“Princess, this is a colony world, not your precious core planet. There are no luxury transports here, and no one's walking home just to keep you comfortable.”
“I wasn't showing off, and I'm not some ornament you can lock away for my own protection.”
“If I don't hear from you within 10 minutes, I'm coming in after you.”
