Episode 4 · Emma, Ryan, Logan
Ryan asks Emma if she is leaving the rink. Madison mocks Emma about Logan and tells her to head back alone. When the group leaves for food, Ryan invites Emma to a restaurant she long wanted to visit. Emma turns him down. Later in their dorm, Emma sees Ryan's online photo with Madison. Madison brings in takeout from Ryan while roommates gossip. Emma puts on her headphones and rests.
Ryan asks if Emma is leaving. Madison asks about Logan with sarcastic remarks and tells Emma to return to the dorm alone. Ryan stops Emma and invites her to dinner at a restaurant she used to suggest. Emma firmly declines.
Emma lies in bed and spots Ryan's new post with Madison. Madison enters carrying takeout from Ryan. Two female roommates gather around her to ask about the relationship. Emma feels relieved, puts on her headphones, and closes her eyes.
“Didn't you always want to try that place?”
“It's been too long. I don't want to eat there anymore.”
“Lost the game. Won her.”
“Girls, I brought food. Ryan bought it.”
“But seeing him with someone else now, I suddenly felt free.”
Madison stands in the dorm room with the roommates celebrating her official romance with Ryan. Emma stays in bed with her headphones on, unbothered by the news. Will Ryan try to get Emma's attention again, or will he commit to Madison while Emma turns her focus toward Logan?
