Episode 3 · Emma, Ryan, Logan
Emma walks over to the rival team's bench with a bottle of water. Jake warns Logan that Emma belongs with Ryan, but Logan smiles and accepts it anyway. Logan skates out, and Jake invites Emma to sit down. When Logan returns to the bench, he sits next to Emma and flirts with her. He drinks from her bottle while staring down Ryan. Ryan loses his temper and throws his helmet across the ice.
Emma walks to the rival bench and offers Logan a bottle of water. Jake warns Logan that she is Ryan's girl, and a teammate expects her to get rejected. Instead, Logan smiles, accepts the bottle, and talks with her.
Logan heads back onto the ice. Jake invites Emma to sit down on the bench. He explains that no other girl has managed to get Logan to accept water. They sit together and watch Logan play with high energy.
Logan leaves the ice and sends Jake out to replace him. He sits right next to Emma on the bench and asks what she and Jake were laughing about. Logan directly tells Emma that he noticed her the second she arrived.
Logan drinks from Emma's bottle while staring across the ice at Ryan. Ryan glares back in fury and hurls his hockey helmet down onto the rink. Behind the glass, a girl in a pink hoodie screams at Ryan to stop.
“Logan. Don't. That's Ryan's girl.”
“Wait. You brought me water, but you're cheering for Ryan?”
“Maybe I'm just thirsty for a better game.”
“Ryan, don't! Everyone's watching!”
Logan openly sips from Emma's bottle while staring Ryan down. Ryan completely loses control and slams his helmet onto the ice, ignoring the girl in the pink hoodie begging him to stop. Will Ryan face penalties for his violent outburst, or will he confront Logan and Emma directly at the bench?
