Episode 2 · Soraya, Calum, Rose
Soraya looks through the bedroom door and spots Calum with Rose. Rose mocks Soraya, and Calum tells young Sage that Rose will become her new mother. Soraya recalls Sage playing a piano duet with Rose earlier that day while Calum applauded them. As Calum heads to the shower with Rose, Soraya packs her clothes. She tears up old papers, signs divorce papers in the study, and walks out the gate alone.
Soraya looks into the bedroom and catches Calum being intimate with Rose. Rose mocks Soraya's body and labels her an unpaid live-in maid. Calum then tells little Sage that Rose will become her new mother.
Soraya remembers arriving at the school auditorium for Sage's recital earlier that afternoon. She watches Sage address Rose as Mommy and play a duet with her on stage. Calum sits in the audience and claps for them.
Calum leads Rose into the shower while the nanny walks away with Sage. Soraya goes to the closet to pack her suitcase. She rips up old papers, signs the divorce agreement, and places it on the study desk.
Soraya grips her packed suitcase and heads outside into the dark. She pulls her luggage past the luxury villa gates without looking back. She leaves Calum and the Montclair estate completely behind.
“Honestly, she's just a free live-in maid at this point.”
“Aunt Rose and I are gonna make you a baby brother... and she'll be your new mommy. How's that?”
“Yes! I want a baby brother! And I love Aunt Rose!”
“Fine. I'm done playing house.”
Soraya pulls her suitcase through the estate gates and steps into the darkness alone. She has abandoned her role as Calum's obedient wife and left her signed divorce papers on the study desk. How will Calum react when he finds the empty rooms and the signed divorce agreement, and what will Soraya do now that she is free?
