Lana stops on the stairs and reaches out to Noah, asking him to come upstairs with her. Noah takes her hand. She spends the rest of the evening playing games with the boy in his room. Once Noah falls asleep, Lana tucks him into bed and steps outside. Adrian ambushes her in the dark hallway. He seizes her wrist and demands to know her real identity and her plans for Noah.

Lana spends the entire evening inside the playroom with Noah. She sits on the floor to play games with him until he grows tired. Afterwards, she tucks him into bed and waits quietly until he drifts off to sleep.

Lana quietly closes the door behind her and walks into the hallway. Adrian lunges forward from the shadows and clamps his fingers around her wrist. He leans in close, fiercely demanding to know her true motives regarding Noah and the family fortune.
