Aitana shifts into human form as her heat begins under a blood moon. She plans to spend the night with her boyfriend, Eduardo. Eduardo ignores her and hooks up with Lucia on his couch. Burning with fever, Aitana runs into a dark lake to cool off. She runs into Alpha Carlos in the water. A mind link flares when they touch. Overwhelmed, Aitana begs him to mark her, and Carlos bites her neck on the rocks.
A wolf transforms into Aitana beneath a blood moon near the water. Her heat cycle begins tonight. She wants to give her first time to her boyfriend Eduardo, so she sets out to find him in the forest.
Eduardo lies on his villa couch, passionately making out with his mistress Lucia. He laughs about Aitana wanting him to be her first partner. Instead of meeting Aitana, he chooses to stay on the couch and keep playing with Lucia.
The heat becomes overwhelming for Aitana. Suffering from the rising fever, she stumbles along the pebbled shoreline alone. Desperate for relief from the heat, she wades into the dark, freezing lake to cool her burning body down.
Aitana comes up from the water and meets Carlos. She begs the Alpha for help. When their hands touch, a fiery mind link sparks between them. The shock calms Carlos's full moon fury and tells him she is his fated mate.
Aitana cannot fight the mate pull and begs Carlos to mark her. Carlos lifts her up and carries her to the nearby rocks. He kisses her mouth, sinks his fangs into her neck, and they make love together.
“I'm going into heat tonight. I want my first time to be with Eduardo, my boyfriend.”
“Someone wants me to be her first, but I'm not done playing yet.”
“This is... a mind link? You're my fated mate?”
“I can't take it... Please mark me.”
Carlos marks Aitana with a deep bite on her neck beneath the blood moon. The two wolves give in to the mate pull and make love right on the shoreline rocks. How will Aitana face Eduardo now that she bears his Alpha father's permanent mating bite?
