Cedric Shaw brings a locksmith to pick the lock on Iris Sterling's apartment door after she ends their relationship through the intercom. Cedric bursts inside and finds Iris next to a shirtless Victor Sterling. Furious, Cedric lunges forward, but Victor drops him to the floor and throws a knife past his head. Cedric flees into the snowy street, meets his assistant, and orders a complete background check on the stranger.
