He then pushes her onto the mattress, offering himself as a tool for her revenge against Ethan.
William sits beside the bed and admits his father took him home as an unwanted burden rather than a true heir. Ivy remembers Ethan saying nobody else would take her, so she tells William that both of them are burdens.
William kneels by the bed with his silver fox ears drooping down. He disputes Ethan's claims and lifts Ivy's hand against his cheek. Beneath the edge of the blanket, his silver fox tail quietly winds around Ivy's calf.
William's eyes turn sharp as he leans over Ivy and pushes her back against the mattress. He whispers an offer for her to use him to punish Ethan, begging her to take him as her personal tool for the night.
“I am not a true heir of that family, Ivy. My father brought me there as a burden. I don't have the luxury to be a playboy.”
“Ethan said no one else would ever want me. I guess we're both just burdens.”
“If you want revenge on Ethan... you can use me. I don't mind being your tool, Ivy. I know exactly how to worship you.”
“Just use me for tonight. If you hate it... I promise I will quietly disappear.”
William hovers over Ivy on the bed, holding her chin and pleading with her to use his body to hurt Ethan. He promises to vanish quietly if she hates the experience. Will Ivy accept his offer and use Ethan's brother to take her revenge, or will she push William away?
