Episode 7 · Valeria, Emilio, Thiago
Valeria brings Thiago into her apartment and scoops up her dog, Pelusa. A flashback shows Thiago giving her the puppy on a school staircase before moving overseas. Back in the present, Thiago jokes that she pulled him into marriage like a pervert. Valeria explains she had personal reasons for her actions. When Valeria places a pair of house slippers on the floor for him, Thiago refuses to put them on his feet.
Valeria walks into the apartment with Thiago right behind her. She spots her white dog, Pelusa, and immediately scoops the pet into her arms. She tells Thiago that this is the dog he handed to her in their school days.
In a past memory on a school staircase, young Thiago hands Valeria a box containing a white puppy. He prepares to travel abroad for work and studies. Valeria takes the gift, says thank you, and walks away as he whispers blessings.
The scene shifts back to the apartment entryway. Thiago remarks that Valeria has not changed at all. He teases her for grabbing him into marriage after bumping into him. Valeria stands her ground and answers that she had her own motives.
Valeria puts down a pair of guest slippers near the front entrance. She asks Thiago why he is still standing there in his outdoor shoes. Thiago stares at the footwear, frowns, and firmly states that he will not touch them.
“This is the puppy you gave me back then. Remember? He's grown so much.”
“Wishing you peace, prosperity, happiness, and joy.”
“I don't wear other men's shoes.”
The episode closes at the front doorway as Thiago stands still, flatly rejecting the slippers Valeria prepared. He makes it clear that he will not walk in another man's footwear. Will Valeria explain whose shoes are sitting by the entrance, or will Thiago's sudden jealousy disrupt their first night under the same roof?
