A Helix enforcer brings medicine to the gate and demands Kilo in return. Mia argues with the injured leader about trusting the offer. Nora inspects the medical kit and spots a locator beacon. Enemy vehicles fire harpoon cables to snare Kilo and topple the water tower. Mia slices through a cable. Kilo blocks falling debris to protect the leader. Mia plans their exit, but an informant sells their route to Helix.
A Helix enforcer delivers a medicine box to the settlement gate and demands Kilo in return. Mia clashes with the wounded settlement leader. She tells him not to trust the bargain, while the leader wants the medical supplies.
Nora examines the medicine kit near the water tower and uncovers a hidden locator beacon. Outside the gate, armed vehicles immediately strike. They launch harpoon cables across the courtyard to pin Kilo down and drag the tower over.
Mia rushes forward with a cutting tool and slices through the tension cable. Freed from the line, Kilo steps over the injured settlement leader. The machine absorbs the impact of the collapsing wooden structure to keep the man alive.
Under the rubble, the wounded leader questions why Kilo protected him after his betrayal. Kilo answers him directly. Mia tells the group that she and Kilo will leave before dawn to pull Helix pursuers away from the settlement.
A poor settlement resident slips into the dark ruins to meet a Helix operative. The operative hands over a dose of medicine. In return, the survivor reveals that Mia and Kilo plan to escape toward the east before sunrise.
“The medicine is yours. The machine is ours.”
“This isn't a temperature sensor. It's a locator beacon.”
“We leave before dawn. I'll draw Helix away and bring back answers.”
“East before dawn.”
The episode ends in the dark ruins when a desperate resident sells out Mia and Kilo for a single dose. Helix now holds their planned path to the east before sunrise. Will the traveling pair walk directly into an enemy trap, or will they spot the danger before Helix strikes?
