Episode 9 · 72 episodes · Farrah Blake, Ethan Sinclair, Sheryl Sinclair
At the pool party, Connor approaches Farrah and says she needs to cool off. Farrah begs him to stop, but Connor and another guest lift her up. Across the patio, Ethan tries to brush off Gia's flirting. The two men throw Farrah into the deep end. Farrah cannot swim, remembers drowning as a child, and sinks. Ethan yells her name, leaps into the water, and presses his lips to hers.
Connor tells Farrah she needs to cool off in the pool while Gia flirts with Ethan nearby. Farrah steps back and refuses. Connor and another party guest grab her and lift her into the air despite her desperate protests.
Ethan tries to explain to Gia that she has the wrong idea about them. Farrah screams out in panic. Ethan turns toward the noise just as Connor and his friend swing Farrah back and forth and throw her into the water.
The party guests laugh around the deck while Farrah splashes frantically. She cannot swim. A dark childhood memory of drowning flashes across her vision. Farrah runs out of breath, stops moving, and sinks down toward the floor of the pool.
Ethan spots Farrah motionless under the surface. He shouts her name, strips off his shirt, and plunges into the water. Ethan swims straight down to the bottom, gathers Farrah into his arms, and presses his lips directly against hers.
“We gotta cool you down, like with a dip in the pool.”
“Please, Connor, no. Put me down. Please.”
“Listen, Gia, look, I think you have the wrong idea here.”
“Farrah!”
Ethan swims down to the bottom of the deep end, grabs Farrah's limp body, and places his lips over hers to give her air underwater. Farrah remains unresponsive beneath the surface. Will Ethan pull Farrah out of the pool in time to save her life, and how will he handle Connor?
