Millie stands before the physical testing target, but she is too small to reach it. After students laugh at her, she jumps into the air and strikes the target directly. Her blow shatters the entire stone pillar. She tells the Elder Mage she only used a tiny bit of her daily training strength. When students insult Duskvale Academy, Millie defends her home. The Elder Mage then asks to inspect her sword.
Millie stands by the pedestal on the academy testing terrace. She is too short to reach the testing target. A blonde male student and the other onlookers laugh at her and call her a muggle as she jumps in vain.
Millie drops into a firm stance and channels her energy. She leaps into the air and punches the target. The strike releases an enormous shockwave across the terrace, smashing the stone testing pillar into pieces and stunning the entire crowd.
The Elder Mage asks Millie how much power she used. Millie replies that she only used a tiny bit from her daily ten thousand sword strikes. She also tells the examiner that her teacher is Master Elias from Duskvale Academy.
The watching students laugh at Duskvale Academy. They call it a rundown school with crumbling walls and fewer than ten people. Millie snaps back in anger, insisting the buildings never collapsed and that the roof only leaks whenever rain falls.
Silence returns to the terrace after Millie defends her school. The bearded Elder Mage steps forward. He extends his hand toward the massive weapon strapped across the little girl's back and asks to inspect the sword for himself.
“Look at that muggle, hahaha... Jumping as high as she can and still can't even touch the target.”
“How much of your strength did you draw upon?”
“The buildings did not collapse! Master says... It just leaks when it rains.”
“Let me take a look at your sword.”
Elder Mage stretches his hand out toward Millie. He asks to inspect the heavy sword she carries across her back. The surrounding crowd waits in silence after watching her destroy the stone testing pillar. Can the academy examiner actually lift the massive blade, or will its true weight surprise everyone on the testing terrace?
