Millie steps forward for her entrance assessment and explains her master labeled her mana as beginner grade. She places her hand on the testing orb, but the College Elder Mage announces she possesses no magical talent. The surrounding students laugh at her. Millie refuses to leave and states she came to find her brother Cassian. Stunned by the name, the examiner prepares a force-strike target and orders her to hit it with full strength.

Episode 4 scene by scene

  1. 00:00: The Magical Orb Assessment

    Millie approaches the podium and mentions her beginner mana value. She places her hand against the crystal orb. Nothing happens, and the College Elder Mage immediately tells her that she has no magician talents at all.

    The academy students standing nearby begin pointing and snickering after the failed attempt. Their taunts make Millie pause in confusion, and she quietly wonders to herself whether she actually lacks the talent needed for the academy.

  3. 00:38: Naming the Celestial Sovereign

    The examiner orders Millie to step aside and clear the floor. She stands firm and announces she must see Cassian. The College Elder Mage reacts with absolute shock, scolding her for daring to speak the sovereign's name out loud.

  4. 01:06: The Force Strike Challenge

    Instead of sending her away, the College Elder Mage configures a force-strike target for an intermediate test. He explains the scoring rules, points her toward the apparatus, and firmly instructs the little girl to hit it using her maximum power.
