Erica Gray packs her bags to leave the palace, enduring insults about her age from younger maids. The Matron orders her to bring medicine to the forbidden sanctuary. Inside, Erica discovers Karl dying from a silver-poisoned blade. She pulls out the dagger, triggering their fated mate marks. Erica stays to save his life, and they spend the night together. At dawn, Erica panics and runs away, leaving Karl to search for her.

  1. 00:00: Mockery in the Maid Quarters

    Erica Gray packs her belongings before dawn after twenty years of service. Two young maids mock her in the room. They laugh at her age and claim she will never find a mate. Erica ignores their insults and continues packing.

  2. 00:33: An Urgent Errand from Matron

    Matron meets Erica in the hallway with hot water and medicinal ointment. She commands Erica to deliver the supplies to the forbidden Ancient Moon Shrine. Matron strictly warns her not to look at the patient's face or let him smell her scent.

  3. 01:01: The Silver Blade and Mate Mark

    Smoking silver blood seeps under the shrine door. Erica rushes inside and finds Karl stabbed with a poisoned blade. She pulls out the weapon. Red light erupts across the room, and matching crescent moon marks appear on both of their chests.

  4. 02:16: A Choice to Stay and Heal

    Erica turns to flee, but Karl's dying gasps stop her. She returns to his side with medicine. Karl offers her one final chance to walk away, but Erica begs him to live. They share a desperate kiss and embrace on the floor.

  5. 03:02: Morning Flight from the Sanctuary

    Morning light wakes Erica beside Karl. Realizing he is a royal Alpha, panic overtakes her. She pulls on her cloak without waking him. Erica bolts out of the sanctuary chamber and runs into the courtyard, leaving everything behind.

  6. 03:17: The Search for the Unknown Omega

    Lord Glen enters the clinic with guards to attend to Karl. Karl sits up and notices a long strand of female hair on his fur blanket. Remembering the night, Karl immediately commands Glen to track down the Omega who saved him.
